About Us
As the centrepiece to your celebration, we understand how important the cake is. That is why we aim to specifically tailor it to your individual requirements. We therefore offer a variety of cake ‘bases’ for decoration, including sponges flavoured with vanilla or chocolate (indeed many other flavours, such as lemon or coffee, are available on request) and fruit cakes ranging from the traditional rich fruit cake, to a lighter version – both with or without alcohol.
Should you have any particular dietary requirements, such as allergies, please discuss this with us and we will try to accommodate them. Please be aware, however, that nut products are inevitably handled in the kitchen at times. We will try to ensure that no nut products are used, but are unable to guarantee that the cake has not come into contact with other products containing nuts.
The cost of each cake is as individual as the cake itself, as it is dependent upon the complexity and design required. In many cases, we can advise on prices at the time of contact, but for more intricate or time consuming creations then we aim to provide you with a written quotation within 5 working days.
For cakes other than wedding cakes, we require full payment at the time of booking. For wedding cakes we require a non-refundable deposit of £50 and full payment two weeks before collection or delivery. Payment can be made by either cash or cheque.
A complementary delivery service is available to customers in the Sheffield area. Customers from other areas are advised to contact us prior to ordering regarding delivery and any charges that may be incurred.
