Wedding cake ideas are endless but to simplify them, they can be put in to several categories.
Traditional, basic shaped, tiered cakes, (either with or without pillars) are usually covered with white icing and decorated with sugar or fresh flowers. Each cake is priced individually depending on size, shape, flavours of tiers and decoration chosen. The average price for a 3-tier cake (providing around 100 portions) is £295, 2-tier cakes start at £175 and 4-tier cakes start at £350. Chocolate covered 3-tier cakes start at £345.
A small round 3-tier cake will provide 70-100 portions, while a large round 3-tier cake will provide 120-150 portions. A small square 3-tier cake will provide 100-130 portions, while a large square 3-tier cake will provide 150-180 portions. Please note that if you have any of the tiers as fruit cake, you will be able to get slightly more portions, as the portion sizes of fruit cakes is smaller than that of sponge cakes.
Delivery and set-up of the cake at your wedding venue is included. Our free delivery area includes Sheffield, Doncaster, Yorkshire and surrounding areas but is subject to confirmation at the time the order is placed.
